6 Months Later...
There hasn't been a lot going on in my kitchen these last few weeks. Nothing new anyway amid this very challenging time in our country's--humanity's--history. That's right...coronavirus/COVID-19. Our family began social distancing sometime in late-February. D began keeping up with the worldwide news of coronavirus and predicted/anticipated our (the US) situation with closed schools and businesses shutting about 2-3 weeks before it actually happened. Personally, I have been an emotional wreck for a couple weeks, but mostly since the schools closed. Normally, I'd be out shopping or making play dates with mama friends, but instead, I stay in the house and try to talk myself out of being freaked out. It hasn't worked. I decided last night to turn OFF Facebook on my phone so I can't see posts or information about the virus unless I go searching for it. My emotional well-being needs the break, and I need to practice infusing JOY into my daily activities.
